An afternoon party on the lawn of one of Long Island's most historic sites, featuring food from area restaurants. Official Tricentennial Program will include ceremonial presentation of the Queen Anne Patent (originally granted by the Colonial Governor and Council to John Mowbray on October 8, 1708). Attendance by a representative of the British Embassy and local, state and federal elected representatives is anticipated.

Bay Shore kicks off its 300 th Anniversary with Tricentennial Restaurant Week.
From April 1 - 10, eighteen area restaurants will be featuring prix fix meals for $17.08 and $20.08. The first of many events scheduled to celebrate this historic waterfront hamlet's 300 th year, Tricentennial Restaurant Week puts the spotlight on Bay Shore's burgeoning restaurant scene. Whether you are a fan of barbeque, seafood, or sushi, Bay Shore is home to some of Long Island's best restaurants.
